Description | Group of burn victims and their loved ones promoting help, mutual aid and support for personal and social rehabilitation * support, orientation and referral services for its clientele from all over eastern Quebec * individual meetings * phone follow-up * hosting service * massage therapy * meditation program * information meetings at the Enfant-Jésus hospital * school awareness or socialization programming * awareness of the consequences of burns in the elderly (SIRA) * support groups and interdisciplinary intervention plan in collaboration with the University Institute of Rehabilitation (IRDPQ - see individual file) * social rehabilitation activities * referral to health network resources * documentation, information sessions, newsletter and annual report * awareness program on the consequences of serious burns for young arsonists * assistance with the integration of children marked by scars and wearing compression garments or a face mask, in a childcare center (CPE) or in a school environment |
