Elementary School Students
Individuals who are enrolled in public or private elementary schools that are part of the formal educational system. Elementary schools, also known as primary schools, generally serve students from grade 1 to grades 6 or 7, though they may also be defined as including kindergarten and middle school age children.
High School Students
Individuals who are enrolled in classes or courses of study in public or private high schools that are part of the formal education system. High schools, also known as secondary schools, generally serve students in the upper grades 10 to 12, (grades 9 to 12 in some cases), except those in Quebec which serve students grades 7 to 11 (students can then proceed to a pre-college or university program such as CEGEP).
