Description | IBC's mission is to represent property and casualty insurers while reinforcing and supporting the profession To this end, IBC: * maintains steady contact with government, consumers and all other interested parties * participates in regulatory and legislative affairs, including the drafting of new legislation * works closely with the government and other Industry partners on prevention initiatives * gathers and disseminates specialized information, including reports and statistics * provides the general public with information about insurance both in everyday life and in times of crisis * develops education and awareness campaigns for consumers.
