| Description | Compensation, medical assistance and rehabilitation offered to crime victims and rescuers * Reimbursement of psychotherapy sessions offered to close relations of a victim * Compensation for temporary total disability: a victim or a rescuer may receive indemnities for the period in which he or she is unable to work or to resume the majority of her or his usual activities * Permanent disability benefits * Reimbursement of medical assistance: ambulance, medication, transportation, orthotics and protheses, dental care, physiotherapy treatments * Reimbursement of rehabilitation services (physical, social and professionnal) * Death benefits: reimbursement of funeral expenses up to 5 000 $ (adjusted on January 1 of each year), indemnities to the dependants of a deceased victim, indemnity of 6000 $ to each parent of a dependant, or indemnity of 12 000 $ to one of the parent if the other one is not entitled to the indemnity (indemnities are adjusted on January 1 of each year), reimbursment for cleaning up a crime scene up to 3 200 $ (indemnity adjusted on January 1, of each year), reimbursement of psychotherapy sessions for close relations of a deceased victim |
